This program is funded by The American Baptist Home Mission Society. It is a program that supports women in our community through education, skill-building, and connection.
We understand that due to lack of childcare, transportation many women are unable to attend ESL classes in the community. Our classes are during the weekdays, during school hours and run from August to June.
Our ESL classes for women offer a supportive and inclusive environment where they can develop their English language skills while also building meaningful relationships with one another.
Interested in enrolling for our English Language classes?
Classes are in-person at Detroit Friendship House. English classes are from August to June. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-12noon.
